The Working Holiday visa (Subclass 417) allows young adults from eligible countries to have an affordable Australian adventure. Spend up to a year touring the country while taking short-term jobs to fund your travels.
Who Can Apply?
Citizens aged 18-30 from one of 20+ partner countries can apply. This includes Ireland, France, Germany, Taiwan, UK, Canada and more. Recent graduates may also score a 2nd or 3rd year extension.
Work Perks and Limits
Pick fruit on a farm one week, bartend a cool pub the next. Work as you travel, just switch employers within 6 months per visa rules. Income earned is taxed and superannuated. Remember – tourism must be your main focus.
