Offshore Partner (Subclass 309/100)
The Partner Visa (Provisional) (Class UF) (Subclass 309) & Partner Visa (Migrant) (Class BC) (Subclass 100) is a two-stage visa process for people wanting to move to Australia on the basis of being in a relationship with an eligible partner (sponsor).

To lodge a valid visa application, you must be outside Australia.
This is a 2-stage process, in applying for a Partner visa, you will be applying for the subclass 309 Provisional and the subclass 100 Permanent visas concurrently.
You can enter and stay in Australia until a permanent visa decision is made.
Key Eligibility requirements
An Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealander must be your spouse or de facto partner.
There must be evidence that your relationship is exclusive, committed, genuine, and continuing.
The following four factors must be met cumulatively by you and your partner:
Aspects of the relationship that involve joint finances.
Join nature of the household arrangement.
Social aspects of a relationship.
The nature of the couple’s commitment to each other.
Couples who are in a de facto relationship must have been together for at least 12 months. However, there are exceptions to this requirement including when the relationship has been registered under a law of a State or Territory prescribed in relevant legislation.
The requirements for health and character must be met.
